Excellence in Staffing Institute
Based on the foundation laid by a collaboration in early 2008 hosted by The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) and Concerro, Inc., that resulted in the document “Excellence and Evidence in staffing; Essential Links to Staffing Strategies, Design and Solutions for Healthcare”, this work brings a definition of excellence in staffing, supporting best practices and a model for the use of evidence as a foundation for effective staffing.
The newly formed Excellence in Staffing Institute oversees the advancement of this work.
- Support further research on staffing
- Provide evaluation tools to help organizations measure and monitor their alignment with the standards of excellence
- Offer Workshops to support organizations in achieving excellence in staffing
- Provide organizations access to expert consultants in the staffing arena
