Research Institute
Contemporary nurses use the best evidence currently available for clinical decision-making to provide the most consistent, best possible care for patients. The Research Institute is designed to assist nurses with access to tools and resources that can assist their interests and efforts in the process of inquiry. A shared research resource will facilitate the generation of new knowledge to support and enhance evidence-based practice in nursing. The goals of the Research Institute include:
- Support research that demonstrates the impact of health promotion activities on social good and fiscal outlay;
- Support research that explores innovations and adaptations in nursing and clinical care practices to further the profession and support evidence-based-practice
- Utilize appropriate technology to foster inquiry for the development of new knowledge and outcomes that guide evidence-based-practice.
